US TikTok Ban: The Government of USA has officially banned tiktok mobile applications in the country by 18 January 2025. More than 170 million Americans were using the mobile application and now they are seeing shutdown services notification on the mobile application.
However the officials and supreme court of the USA are clear to not withdraw the order, but the new term government is the last hope of the tiktok company as Trump has recently been told to give at least 90 days reprieve after joining the present and post from 20 January 2025.
90 days relaxation to Tik Tok ?
Trump is set to sit in White House from 20 January 2025. After a long time legal hearing in US court, supreme court has finally ordered to shutdown the server of tiktok in the USA. Recently Trump has conducted in interview on NBC and shared thoughts on this decision.
He told the press that it is more appropriate to provide a 90 days relaxation or extension to the tik Tok company to shutdown their server from the country. Apart from this he also told he may implement this rule after getting in charge from 20 January 2024 Tuesday.
Tik Tok shut down their server
Tik Tok is officially shutting down their server from 18 January 2025. Users are seeing multiple notifications on the mobile application to temporary shutdown servers in the country i.e: A law banning TikTok has been enacted in the US. Unfortunately that means you can’t use TikTok for now.
Now people are looking for solution to restart the mobile application in country. The company have also shared that they will discuss the matter with new president of USA Donald Trump after joining the White House from 20 January 2025.

As Trump already shared to the press that he is willing to provide relaxation process company for at least 90 days to discontinue the services and server throughout the company. Now company stakeholders released statement to meet with Trump during joining the White House as a president of USA.
Honda company have also informed on the mobile application that Donald Trump has express his interest with the company in his latest statement. So they have a hope that he will talk with the company for solution and inform to the users to stay turned on the app.

Why Tik Tok banned in US?
Tik Tok is very controversial mobile application through the world where countries are continuously restricting their citizens to use Tik Tok mobile app. The main reason to stay away citizens from the Tik Tok app is their security concerns. However the Government of USA and Supreme Court of USA order to ban Tiktok for following reasons:
- National Security Concerns: The Government of USA have many time warned to citizens about the illegal activities of Tik Tok mobile application to spy their users. People are sharing their personal details on the app and there are highly chances to manipulate users for a particular activity through running campaign where more than 170 million can affect from it.
- Data Collection risk: Tik Tok is Chinese company and all the Chinese companies are required to share database of their users with chinese authorities. So the Chinese government, which is considered Opposite to the US authorities and administration, can use the personal information of the Americans and Manipulate users accordingly.
- Do not Sell The parent company : The Government of USA has proposed a bill in 2024 to offer Tik Tok company to sell their Parent company ByteDance to a non-Chinese owner. The proposal also challenge to company if they do not follow the rule then need to face a ban. However the order was challenged in Supreme Court but they also continue rules in this bill and finally Tik Tok is shutting down their servers in the country.
How to use Tik Tok ban in USA?
There are no option for users to further use Tik Tok mobile application until the company reaches all the criteria’s suggested in the bill presented in US parliament in 2024. However company is asking there users two stay tune as they will arrange a meeting with Donald Trump ( 47 president of USA) after joining the president position from 20 January onwards.
