Instructions for Document Verification/Interview Process
At the time of document verification, candidates must present the original documents listed below as well as a set of self-attested photocopies of all certificates and documents; if they are unable to do so, their application will be denied.
1. A hard copy of the completed and signed online application.
2. The biodata and attestation forms. (To be downloaded from the Commission’s website.)
3. H.S.C. or a comparable document attesting to the age declaration.
4. Certificates from the relevant Board or Council for the Intermediate, +2, or Diploma exams.
5. A Metallurgy Engineering B.E. or B.Techdegree certificate from an accredited university.
6. Where appropriate, an M.E. or M.Tech degree certificate in metallurgy engineering from an accredited university.
7. Grades for the aforementioned tests that were passed (HSC to M.E. / M.Tech. Degree).
8. Where appropriate, a conversion certificate.
9. Certificate of Odia Test Pass (M.E. School Standard).
10. If applicable, a SC/ST Caste Certificate issued by the Competent Authority within the online application deadline period to substantiate the claim that the applicant is SC/ST.
11. If applicable, a SEBC certificate issued by the Competent Authority within the previous three years prior to the application deadline.

12. For ex-servicemen, the commanding officer of the unit they last served issues a discharge certificate. Additionally, candidates who are ex-servicemen are required to provide an affidavit stating that they have not been appointed to any civil position (the affidavit format is attached as Annexure-I to this Notice).
13. Where appropriate, a Permanent Disability Certificate from the relevant Medical Board that shows the percentage of permanent disability, such as 40% or more.
14. Where appropriate, a Sports Identity Card or Certificate from the Director of Sports in Odisha.
15. A hard copy of the online application must be provided, along with the rule or authority (including the number and date) under which the candidate’s qualifications are deemed to be equivalent to the requirements.
16. Four recent, unsigned, unattested passport-size photos that were uploaded with the online application form.

17. Where appropriate, a certificate of no objection (for in-service candidates).
18. Identity-supporting document. (Voter ID card, Pan card, DL, or Aadhar).
19. Any additional document listed in Advt. No. 01 of 2023-24, Paragraph 10.
