CSIR UGC NET 2024 December Registration: National testing agency has started to accept online application forms of CSIR UGC net December exam 2024. Candidates have the deadline of 30 December 2024 to submit the application form on the portal. CSIR UGC NET 2024 Starts
Application forms for Council for Scientific and Industrial Research- CSIR UGC NET exam for December session of 2024 has been started from 9 December onwards and candidates can submit the application before 30 December. Qualified candidates can join the university to become an assistant professor or JRF.
National testing agency will conduct the examination on CBT mode where candidates have to mark correct answers on computers. As it is the specific test conducted by CSIR so number of papers will also be customized according to the Council Areas where candidates will see total 5 papers including Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Science and Physical Sciences.
Important dates of CSIR Net December Exam 2025
Official notification was released on the national testing agency website on 9 December 2024 and the application was started from the same day. However candidates can submit the CSIR Net application form till 30 December 2024 but they will have opportunity to pay the online application fees till 31 December accordingly. If you enter any wrong information in the application form then can correct it between 1 and 2 January of 2025 in the correction window.
After that authority will conduct CBT examination of UGC CSIR net December 2024 between 16 January to 28 January 2024 at different days and shifts. Once the authority conducting the examination, response sheets and CSIR Net provisional answer key will also be released within one week. After that candidate can see the official result in the last week of February 2025.
CSIR Net Eligibility 2024
- Candidates belongs to any country in the world are eligible to apply in this CSIR NET exam for December 2024.
- There is no age criteria to apply in CSIR UGC NET December exam however if you want to get admission in JRF then you should be less than 30 years old
- The candidate is required to complete MSC with at least 55% marks.
- Candidates who have completed graduation of 4 years are also eligible to apply in this examination with at least 75% marks.
- Candidates belongs to reserve categories will get 5% relaxation in the marks accordingly.
- If the candidate is studying in the last semester then they can also apply for this examination.
How to apply for CCSIR UGC NET December 2024?
Candidates are required to follow the following step to complete the application procedure where they need to firstly create the registration and after that login on the dashboard.
Step 1: Registration on UGC CSIR NET
Candidates are firstly required to visit on the official website of NTA CSIR NET December 2024. This is the official website link https://csirnet.nta.ac.inÂ
Now you will see the registration link under the latest news section and once you click on the link you will reach on the registration page
Candidates have to provide the Aadhar Card details and authority will send OTP on the registered mobile number with Aadhar card for verification. After that they need to provide basic information and mobile number with email id to create user id and password.
Step 2:Online application
Once the applicant creates a user id and password then it to again visit on the portal and click on the login link to reach on the dashboard. Now they have to fill the application form where they need to provide educational information, personal details, contact information, examination preferences etc
Step 3 : upload documents
Now candidates are required to upload passport size photograph with the dimension of 10 kb to 200 kb. And signature of the applicant should be 4 kb to 30 kb in JPG, JPEG & PDF format. Apart from this you also need to attach relevant documents including educational certificate, category certificate etc.
Step 4: Pay the application fees
At the end of the application you need to pay the online application fees where candidates belong to UR category have to pay Rs. 1150, OBC and EWS candidates have to pay 600 and candidates belong to SC, ST and PWD category are required to pay Rs 325.
