GATE 2025 Exam Schedule: IIT Roorkee has released the GATE exam 2025 schedule on the official website where examinations are scheduled from 1st February 2025 onwards. Eligible individuals who want to Get admission in Masters courses in technology, Engineering, Technology etc can appear in the GATE Exam 2025 which will be conducted through CBT mode.

GATE 2025 Exam Schedule Download
The exam schedule of the GATE Examination 2025 has already released by the IIT Roorkee which are going to conduct in February 2025. Examinations are scheduled only Saturday and Sunday on 4 dates in February including first and second February and 15th and 16 February 2025.
However candidates will able to download the GATE Exam Admit Card 2025 from 2nd January onwards. So they can take print out of the admit card and appear in the examination hall accordingly.
Important dates of GATE Exam 2025
The application procedure has already completed between 28 August to 16 September 2024 through online mode for The Eligible individuals. After date authority provided relaxation to the candidates to submit the application will late fees till 7 October 2024.
Candidates have also rearranged and updated their exam city preferences, Personal details and other mistakes which they have created at the time of submarine the application form till 6 November 2024. Now candidates are waiting to appear in the examination which is schedule in February 2025. but the admit card of the exams will be released on the 2nd January 2025.
Since the examinations are scheduled on 1st and 2nd February and 15 and 16 February 2025, so candidate will appear in the examination hall in morning or evening shift according to the exam schedule. Once the exam completed, the online result will be released on 19 March 2025 and candidates will able to download the scorecard of the GATE exam 2025 from 28 March accordingly.

GATE Exam Details 2025
The computer-based examination is conducted in English and comprises 30 papers, each lasting 3 hours. Each paper consists of a General Aptitude section (10 questions) and a subject-specific section (55 questions), assessing recall, comprehension, application, analysis, and synthesis.
The exam includes Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions. Most papers are scored out of 100, with 15 marks for General Aptitude, 13 marks for Engineering Mathematics (except for certain subjects), and 72 marks for subject questions. Some papers allocate 85 marks to subject questions. Questions carry 1 or 2 marks, with negative marking for incorrect MCQ answers.
