The US Citizenship and immigration services- USCIS informed on the official website about the new implementation in the H1-b. H-1B allows H-1B workers to start working for a new employer while their new H-1B petition is pending with USCIS.
This rule makes job changes easier without needing to wait for petition approval. Authority will implement these updates from 17 January 2025 onward and individuals have an opportunity to apply with the previous update for H1-B Visa before 17 January.
The current version of the form (edition date: 04/01/24) will no longer be accepted after January 17, 2025. There is no grace period, so all petitions filed on or after January 17, 2025, must use the new 01/17/25 edition of Form I-129.
