There are approximately 1,253 Kendriya Vidyalaya Schools across the country which are located at different states. KVS are running by the central government which are mainly focusing on educating children and wards of the Central Government employees. However normal citizens can also enroll their children in schools according to the state wise reservation criterias. Since the application procedure has been completed for the session of 2024 and 25,
now parents are waiting for new admission procedure in 2025 and 26. Usually KVS invite to submit online application form for admission in class 1 to class 11 in April. So currently parents have to wait for at least 3 to 4 months to provide admission their children in KVS.
KVS online admission dates 2025
The admission schedule for the session of 2025 and 26 will be released by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan in March 2025. Where authority will firstly invite students for admission in class 1 and after that invite candidates for admission in class 2 to class 8. Candidates who want to get admission in class 9 have to appear in the eligibility test. However for those who want to get admission in class 11 have to wait for the CBSE 10th result 2025.
It is expected from the authority to start application form for class 1 admission from 27 March 2025 and applications for class 2 and about would start from 5 April 2025 onwards.
Eligibility for KVS Admission 2025
The eligibility criteria to get admission in Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is released on the official website. According to the latest information, the minimum age of the applicant should be less than 6 years to get admission in first class in KVS in 2025.

KVS Admission Fees 2025
The fee structure for Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS) includes a nominal admission fee of ₹25 and a re-admission fee of ₹100. For tuition, there are no fees for Classes 1 to 8. For Class 9 and 10 boys, the monthly tuition fee is ₹200, while for Classes 11 and 12, it varies: ₹300 for Commerce and Arts for boys, and ₹400 for Science. Additionally, there is a Computer Fund fee of ₹100 per month for Classes 4 and above, with no fee for Classes 1 to 3.
Students opting for Computer Science as an elective in Classes 11 and 12 will incur a fee of ₹150. A mandatory School Development Fund of ₹500 per month applies to all classes from 1 to 12. Fees are collected quarterly, and late fees are applicable if payments are made after the 15th of the month. Certain exemptions are available for girls, SC/ST students, and children of KVS employees.
KVS Admission 2025 Application Form
Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan invites students to get admission in class 1 through online mode where you need to visit on the official website and submit all the details along with documents in the official website.
However admission from class 2 and above are provided through offline mode where parents need to check the seat availability in each class which will be uploaded at the time of starting the admission and after that submit the application form accordingly.
Authority will follow lottery system to select students to provide admission in the specific school where parents have applied. So if the name of the student selected, then it will be uploaded on the official website of the school and after that parents have to visit the school physically along with all the documents to complete the admission of the student.
