The senior BJP leader Mahayuti Earlier informed that the government is going to increase the payment of Ladki Bahin Yojana to 2100. The decision to increase the payment will be made in the upcoming Cabinet meeting in the state. The cabinet will decide how they will increase the budget to implement 2100 rupees per month financial assistance of Ladki Bahin Yojana. CM Fadnavis announced 2100 hike in Ladki Bahin Yojana
After the statement of Mahayuti, the chief minister of Maharashtra Devendra fadnavis, told the press on Thursday evening fulfilling the promise of Mahayuti pre-poll to Increase the monthly financial assistance from 1500 to 2100. So it is confirmed by the state head about the hike in monthly payment of Ladki Bahin Yojana.
Fadnavis informed that the party will firstly conduct a 3 days special session which was started from 7 December 2024 and after completing 3rd day, the new speaker was started the winter session from 9th December 2024. The new cabinet will be formed till the end of this month. So the cabinet decision can be seen either 4th week of Dec or earlier according to the formation and new meeting of cabinet.
2.4 crore women will get benefitted
According to approximately 2.4 crore females are registered on Ladki Bahin Yojana portal who were getting 1500 per month. However the government released double payment in October for October and November due to diwaali occasion. But now they all will new payment of 2100 from this month after announcing by the cabinet. So it will include 2.4 crore females whose family is not earning more than 2.5 lakh annually.
