OPSC Assistant Chemist Exam Details
Examination of OPSC assistant chemistry recruitment 2024 will be conducted at Different cities across the state. However examination centres are divided into two zones including Bhubaneswar zone and Cuttack zone. OPSC Exam Date 2025 out
Since the exam is schedule on 5 January 2025, so Candidate should mark their calendar for it and start the revision. The exam will be conducted into 2 shifts where candidates have to appear morning shift for paper 1 and afternoon shift for paper 2. However all the candidates are required to appear in both papers. The exam will be conducted between 10:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in morning shift and 1:30 to 3 p.m. at Afternoon shift.
Candidates will get 90 minutes for each paper where they need to mark correct answers in the OMR sheet within the time. However candidates belonging to PWD category will get 30 minutes extra in each shift and the duration of the exam for them will be 2 hours.

OPSC Assistant Chemist Exam Pattern
Candidates have to appear in paper 1 and paper 2 on 5 January 2025. Each paper will carry 100 marks. Paper I will be conducted for Organic & Analytical Chemistry and Paper II will be conducted for Physical & Inorganic Chemistry. Candidates will get one mark for correct answer in this examination. Apart from this the authority will also follow 25% negative marking where 0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
