OPSC OAS Mains Exam in April 2025: Please be advised that, in accordance with Advt. No. 20 of 2023-24, PWD candidates who fall into the categories of blindness, locomotor disability (affecting both arms), and cerebral palsy are permitted to use Scribe for the Odisha Civil Services Main (Written) Examination 2023.
For the Commission’s consideration, the aforementioned candidates must send a detailed email to OPSC (email ID: opsc@nic.in) with their Scribe information according to the Proforma at Appendix-II by no later than April 2, 2025.
With the exception of the three categories mentioned above, any other group of people with benchmark disabilities who have chosen to use Scribe must provide a written declaration from the Chief Medical Officer, Civil Surgeon, or Medical Superintendent of a Government Health Care Institution. In accordance with the Proforma at Appendix I, stating that the individual in question has a physical disability that makes it necessary for Scribe to write in the examination on their behalf.

These candidates must submit their own Scribe details in accordance with the Proforma at Appendix-II by email to OPSC (Email ID: opsc@nic.in) after receiving the certificate regarding physical limitation from the Chief Medical Officer or any other competent authority as mentioned above. The information must reach the Commission’s office by 02.04.2025 at the latest for consideration.
NB: –
(i) The Scribe’s qualifications ought to fall one level short of the exam-taking candidate’s.
(ii) Candidates must expressly include their PPSAN/Roll No. and Date of Birth when giving information about the Scribe. Along with a photocopy of their educational credentials and a sample of the scribe’s signature, the candidates must also provide a scanned copy of their photo.
(iii) Under no circumstances will the candidate be permitted to use Scribe’s aid if they are unable to provide the necessary details by the deadline.
(iv) PWD applicants do not need to submit their scribe details again if they have already done so for the OCS (Main) Written Examination, 2023 via this office notification No.1722/PSC, Dt-11.03.2025.
Odisha Civil Services 2025 Announcement: Date of OPSC OAS Mains Exam 2023
The OPSC OAS Mains Exam notification is now accessible. The OPSC OAS Mains 2023 will be organised from April 17, 2025, to April 19, 2025. On March 7, 2025, the OPSC OAS Mains Exam Notice was formally released. Eligible candidates for this exam are those who have graduated. Selection Procedure for OPSC Civil Services

Salary for OPSC Civil Services
The salary for the OPSC Civil Services varies based on the position or service to which an individual is assigned. According to Rule 3 of the ORSP Rules of 2017, the salary for Group A positions will be Rs. 56,100/-in Level-12-Cell-1 of the Pay Matrix. According to Rule 3 of the ORSP Rules of 2017, the Level-10-Cell-1 Pay Matrix for Group B positions would pay Rs. 44,900.
