Passing marks of OCS Prelims Exam
Odisha Public Service Commission will not calculate mark of prelims examination in the final merit list. Candidates are only required to achieve At least 33 marks in GS paper 1 and GS paper 2 of prelims examination. Once they qualify in this examination, they will be called for the next mains examination accordingly. So you should only qualify this examination and should not worry about the performance in it as your marks in mains examination will over impact on your selection.
However, the authority will invite only 12x candidates to appear in the mains examination. So if if a higher number of candidate qualified in the Prelims exam, then authority and also introduce category wise cut off marks according to the competition level.

The department will conduct mains examination of the applicants at different centres which are divided into 5 zones including Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack and Sambalpur.
