OPSC OCS Recruitment 2025
The Advertisement number 7 of 2024-25 In opsc has released to recruit the candidates for different posts including Odisha Administrative Services, Odisha finance services, Odisha taxation and accounts, Cooperative Audit, Cooperative services and revenue services in the state.
There are total 200 vacancies in different departments for these post where eligible graduate candidates can submit the application form from 10 January 2025 on the official website accordingly. Important dates of OPSC OCS Vacancy 2025
The official notification was released on 31 December 2024 and The Eligible candidates are invited by the authority from 10 January 2025. They can submit the application form before the deadline of 10 February 2025.
Once the authority receive applications they will start to release the OPSC OCS admit card 2025 soon before one week of the examination and after that the Prelims exam will be conducted at different centres in all 5 zones including Balasore, Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Sambalpur.
OPSC OCS Eligibility 2025
- Applicant should be a permanent citizen of India
- The applicant should complete graduation from any recognised university in India
- Applicant should be familiar with Odia language and able to read and write the language. along with it they are required to complete either 10th class with a language subject of Odia or 12th class with Odia as a medium of the examination from any recognised school in the country. If the candidate have completed 7th class from the Central government aur Odisha Government board school then they can apply for the recruitment drive
- The age of the applicant should be more than 21 years old and should not be more than 38 years old at the time of applying for the recruitment. Women candidates from all categories and SC ST and SEBC candidates will get 5 year age relaxation and PWD candidates will get total 10 year age relaxation. The age will be calculated from 1 January 2024.

OPSC OCS Monthly salary
Candidates will get monthly salary according to the pay level and the group A or B where they are selected. The range of the basic salary is between 44900 to 56100. You can check the following table to know the detailed information of the salary of different positions in department.

OPSC OCS 2025 Exam Pattern
The authority will conduct OCS recruitment examination 2025 into two phases including the prelims and the mains. After that eligible candidates will be called for interview according to their marks in the mains exam.
The Prelims exam include two papers including GS paper 1 and GS paper 2 which will be conducted into two shifts in morning and evening in a day. There will be 100 marks in each paper for different sections in objective type answers. Candidates will award one mark for every parade answer and 0.33 marks will be deducted for each in correct answer. How much candidate achieve in this examinations will increase their chances to appear in the mains exam.
Mains exam is a descriptive exam in this OPSC OCS 2025 recruitment drive where candidates have to appear in total 9 papers which will be conducted into two parts including two papers in part 1 which are only qualifying in nature and marks in these paper will not be calculated in the final merit list. The part 2 will carry total 7 papers where candidates have to write answers of questions in detail.
There will be total 2000 marks in Mains examination which will also include 250 marks of interview. However the part one of the Mains exam is only qualifying nature but candidates are required to achieve at least 25% marks in these papers of English language and Odia language to qualify.
After completing all the OPSC OCS 2025 recruitment phases the authority will prepare a OPSC OCS final merit list and candidates who achieve higher marks in all the phases of the examination will be recruited in this drive accordingly.
