OPSC OCS Result 2024: The Odisha Civil Services examination 2023-24 has been conducted by the OPSC on 15th December 2024 at different locations across the state. Odisha public service commission is the responsible agency to recruit candidates for group A and B under the Odisha Civil Services Examination 2024. Authority has scheduled Prelims exam for OCS GS paper 1 and GS paper 2 on 15 December into two shifts. All the candidates have participated in this examination. The paper one was conducted between 10 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for 2 hours and the paper to was scheduled between 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on the same day. Eligible candidates who qualify the prelims examination will eligible to participate in Mains exam, which scheduled in the earlier months of 2025. however the authority has already released the official question paper on the website but has not released the provisional answer key and result yet.
OPSC OCS Result Date
Candidates for waiting for the prelims examination of OCS recruitment for last one year, and now the authority has conducted the prelims on 15 December. Admit card was released on 7 December on the dashboard. However the OCS exam was conducted on OMR paper on the single day, so authority will soon declare the answer key of the examination as it will take a very short time to prepare answer key of the single day examinations. As per the expectation, the official result for the Prelims exam will be released after one month of releasing the answer key. So there are highly possibilities from the authority to release the result till January 2025. after that candidates can check their details in the PDF of the result accordingly.
OPSC OCS Result preparation
The preparation of the result will include multiple criteria including number of available vacancies, number of candidates who applied in this examination, the cut off marks, reserve seats for different categories etc. The authority has conducted paper 1 Paper 2 of 200 marks each on the same day. However candidates are required to achieve more than qualifying marks in the GS paper 2 to be eligible for appearing in the mains examination, but the marks of GS paper 1 will be calculated in the final merit list which include the marks in Prelims exam and mains exam. Since the authority is following 0.25 negative marking in this examination and providing one mark for each correct answer. so the cutoff will vary according to the number of correct answers marked by applicants in the OMR sheet.
