Combined Higher Secondary Level – CHSL exam is conducted by SSC annually to recruit candidates for different posts in Indian Ministries and Central Government departments. Procedure to submit the SSC CHSL 2025 application form
Candidates are required to follow the following step by step guidelines to submit the application form of SSC CHSL recruitment 2025 which will be applicable after activating the direct link of the application form on the SSC portal.
- Visit to the official website of staff selection commission and click on the create SSC new registration link.
- Now it will ask you to enter your personal information including Aadhar Card details, 10th class details including roll number, marks in each subject, address information, name of the candidate etc
- After that you need to provide your mobile number and email ID for verification and create user id and password to login on a dashboard

Exam pattern of SSC CHSL 2025
The department will conduct 2 phases of the examination including Tier 1 and Tier 2. Candidate will require to appear in the CBT ( computer based test) at different centres across the country to mark correct answers in the computer. The exam will include total 4 sections of 50 marks each:
- General Intelligence
- Quantitative aptitude
- General awareness
- English and language ability
Candidates will get total 60 minutes to complete the exam. So you need to focus on the speed and solve your answers quickly to complete your exam in the time duration. It is also important that authority will include negative marking of 0.5 in this examination where if you Marks the wrong answer then 0.5 marks will be deducted from the overall marks.
If you qualify the tire one examination then will be called to appear in the tier 2 exam where the authority will again conduct CBT exam. It will include total three sections including 180 marks for mathematics General reasoning and quantitative aptitude. After that they will conduct the second section of the exam of language ability of English and general knowledge of 180 marks. Lastly they will conduct the computer efficiency and computer knowledge test of 45 marks to evaluate the candidate.
