Who is eligible to apply for ETA

- However UK citizens will be able to apply in this program after 5 March 2025 the authority will start to allow citizens to travel using ETA from two April 2025.

Fees of ETA
The procedure to apply for electronic travel organisation is completely online we are applicant is need to pay 10 Euro application fees at the time of submitting the application. Currently it is limited to €10 but according to the official website of UK Government, they will further extend the limit of the fees till 16 Euro in future.
Requirements for ETA application
Candidates are required to provide the following details and documents through online mode while applying for electronic travel organisation:
- Passport of the applicant- Applicant is required to provide the passport which will be used at the time of getting entry in UK.

How to Apply for Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA)?
The procedure to apply for ETA program is completely online where you have 2 options to submit your application either on the official website of in the mobile application of ETA. However it is suggested by the government to apply through mobile application which is available on Google Play Store and App Store accordingly.
- Firstly you need to download the ETA mobile application in your device.
- Now you will be asked to enter your email address in the mobile application where we will get registration password to login on the application page
- After that you need to pay the application fees through online mode
- Once you submit the application the application form will open on the screen where you need to upload your documents firstly and provide your details including name, gender, contact details etc.
- After that you need to answer detailed questions in the application form.
Once you submit your information the application from will be submitted and you will get an acknowledgement number to change the status of application.
It is suggested to wait for at least 3 to 4 days to get approval of your application, however in most of the cases applicants get approval within a few minutes but they may also need to wait for long time to verify details. Once the application is approved, you will get authorization to go to the country and live for a maximum of six months in the upcoming 2 years.
