PMSS RPF Scholarship Program 2024: Former RPF/RPSF employee’s spouses and children can receive educational funding through the Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme for RPF/RPSF to help them pursue advanced technical and professional education. The Ministry of Railways oversees this project, which is funded by the National Defence Fund. There are 150 scholarships available through the program. Male recipients of financial aid receive Rs. 2500 per month, while female recipients receive Rs. 3000 per month.

The grant is awarded for the duration of the program or for a maximum of 5 years, whichever comes first. Based on the yearly merit rankings, the funding disbursement will be approved after the DG/RPF has given its approval.

Eligibility Requirements for PMSS RPF Scholarship

• Candidates must be widows/dependents of former RPF/RPSF employees.
• They should be enrolled in a professional or technical degree program at an institution approved by official regulatory bodies such as AICTE, MCI, UGC, or NCTE.
• These programs may include but are not limited to B.E, B.Tech, MBBS, MCA, B.Pharma, or B. Ed. In addition, candidates must have earned at least 60% in their most recent academic achievement.
• Candidate must be a graduate degree holder, diploma, or Class 12 passed.

PMSS RPF Scholarship Documents Required

For Fresh Applicants:

• According to Annexure II, a service certificate from the relevant office for those in category IV is one of the documents needed for first-time applicants.
• Applicants in categories I, II, and III are required to submit a copy of their service book, discharge certificate, or Pension Payment Order (PPO).
• Furthermore, a digital copy of their most recent academic record whether it be a college degree, high school diploma, or any other pertinent document is required.

For Renewal Applicants:

• As stated in Annexure II, category IV applicants who wish to renew their application must submit an updated service certificate from the office of the serving personnel.
• Additionally, a scanned copy of the most recent academic record including mark sheets or any official documents from a recognized authority attesting to advancement to the next grade or class must be turned in.

Application procedure for PMSS RPF Scholarship Program

Interested students must take the actions listed below in order to apply for PMSS RPF Scholarship:-

Step 1: On the official website, start by selecting the “Apply Now” button.

Step 2: Click the “Register” link and fill out the required registration details.

Step 3: After that, navigate to the “Applicant Corner” and choose the “New Registration” link.

Step 4: After carefully reading the information and checking the box to indicate your agreement to the terms, click “Continue.”

Step 5: After entering the captcha code, your mobile number, and the received OTP, click Submit.

Step 6: After completing the required fields, click “Save & Register” to complete your registration.
